Pastor Joel E. Gregory currently serves as Senior Pastor of Faith Christian Center Church, a thriving congregation of over 3,000 individuals located in metropolitan Atlanta, Smyrna, Georgia. His leadership style places great emphasis on oneness, honor and integrity among believers. Pastor Gregory believes that the best way to affect lives is to live by the example that Jesus set in the Bible; by impacting people with God's love and truth. Through his personal relationship with Christ and biblical training, he has been equipped to share the uncompromising gospel of Jesus Christ.
Being a studious and learned individual, he received his Bachelor's Degree from Bowling Green State University in 1989, majoring in Communications, Personnel Administration and Management. His relentless desire to know more of God, led him to attend Word of Faith School of Ministry (Bible Training Center) in Southfield, Michigan, where he graduated in 1993.
After becoming licensed and ordained by Bishop Keith A. Butler in 1994, Pastor Gregory began serving in the capacity of Youth Pastor simultaneously in Southfield, Michigan and Smyrna, Georgia for the next five years. His raw, straightforward message began drawing youth that seemed to be so unreachable into the church, which began a revolution called "Glory Phi God". This ministry was based on I Corinthians 6:20, and focused on showing youth how to bring God glory in their bodies, minds and spirits. God has used this ministry to affect the lives of young people across this country and abroad. From there Pastor Gregory began serving as the Director of Education at Word of Faith International Christian Center, Southfield, Michigan and then as assistant pastor at Faith Christian Center, Smyrna, Georgia. His responsibilities included oversight of the Bible Training Center, Faith Christian Academy (Grades K4-8th), the WOF Athletic Department, Layperson's Bible School, and Work Place Wisdom Institute/Kingdom Business Institute. His leadership influenced excellence and growth within every assignment that he has been given.
Pastor Gregory has faithfully and loyally served God in ministry for the past 16 years. He has dedicated the last 14 years of his ministry to Word of Faith International Christian Center and its affiliates under the leadership of Bishop Keith A. Butler.
He has been the loving husband of Minister Patricia Gregory for over 12 years of marriage and a proud father to Joelle and Joel II. He has determined that his first ministry is not to a congregation or group of people, but to the family that God has entrusted into his care.
